A FISH FRY FOR THE FAMILY OF ABEL MENDEZ

Our friend and coworker, Abel, tragically passed away on Tuesday evening. He was a kind, generous man who always wore a smile and was always helping others. The positive energy he brought to our city and the world will be deeply missed. He leaves 2 sons and a recently adopted daughter in his hometown of Puebla, Mexico. He worked hard in kitchens around Raleigh and every penny he could spare he sent home to support his family in Mexico.⠀

We are raising funds to help his family bring Abel home for burial in Mexico. Our goal is $4300 to cover funeral expenses; every dollar we raise above that will be donated to support his children and family.
